From Vision to Action: Join the GreenVET Final Conference

On Friday, 20 March 2026, from 11:00 to 13:00 CET, the GreenVET Pathway project invites you to its online Final Conference titled “From Vision to Action – Whole-Institution Change for Sustainability in Vocational Education and Training.”

This event will bring together VET professionals, school leaders, students, higher education representatives, and sustainability experts from across Europe to explore how vocational education can actively contribute to the green transition.

The conference will open with a keynote address highlighting the essential role of VET in shaping a sustainable future. As industries evolve and green skills become increasingly important, vocational schools stand at the forefront of preparing learners not only for the labour market, but also for responsible participation in society.

Participants will also gain an overview of the GreenVET project’s key outcomes, including practical tools and resources designed to help schools embed sustainability across their structures and daily operations. The event will showcase real examples from VET schools that are currently implementing environmental actions, demonstrating how sustainability can be integrated into teaching, management, and student life.

A central highlight of the conference will be the panel discussion on “Involving the whole school in action for sustainability.” Bringing together voices from different educational contexts, the discussion will focus on motivation, collaboration, and the importance of engaging the entire school community in long-term change.

The Final Conference offers an opportunity to exchange ideas, gain inspiration, and connect with others committed to strengthening sustainability in vocational education.
